Robert Taylor - Biography

Robert was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1951 and being a self taught artist has expressed his spirituality through his artwork .

"My art reflects my own spiritual journey and it gives me the ability to make peace with the Physical world.  We all have that feeling that something is missing, a part of the puzzle we haven't yet found, and so we make our place in this world by adding ART to express our Inner Being.  We express it through various mediums, but it is what makes us human.  Creativity is a significant biological power; it is the Creator's gift, which is the spark for our entire history, and an aspiration that is within the grasp of us all.  Art is our only unique human endeavor.

My artistic influences as well as inspiring souls are many: Virgil Hughes, Wallace Hughes, Susan Leggett, Paul Pletka, john Biggers, Salvador Dali, Mirac Creepingbear, Oscar Howe, Doris Littrell, Dan Cheshewalla Jr and my daughter Mallory Taylor are but a few I have been honored by."
